SOCIAL MEDIA /MARKETING COORDINATOR

Bretag Floor Source, located in Arlington Heights, IL is one of the Midwest’s leading wholesale flooring distributors selling to the interior design trade. Our showroom is located in the Arlington Design Center and we are looking to hire a part time Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to help promote our business through social media, blogs, newsletters and e-blasts.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Have a positive attitude, be analytical and the ability to problem solve.

• Strong attention to detail is a must.

• Handle our Twitter account, Facebook page, and Instagram account in a professional manner.

• Must be on top of latest technological trends, changes in social media, terms, and guidelines.

• Know Google Docs, Google Calendar and MS Office (Word, Excel).

• Create 1-2 blog posts per week based on new vendor information.

• Coordinate with vendors to receive new product image to post on blogs and social media outlets.

• Work with the Marketing team at the Design Center to update new content for website.

• Knowledge of Photoshop or InDesign preferred.

• Create and send e-blasts to our mailing list.

• Maintain and grow current mailing list.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
